About thunderbird snowsports:
Thunderbird Snowsports is a small ski builder focused on combining engineering-driven ski design with handcrafted construction and natural wooden veneer topsheets.
Every ski and board is engineered individually using carefully selected materials, customized geometry, and calculated flex pattern. Each custom build is hand-crafted in my New York workshop upon receipt of deposit and approval of the design.
Based in Ballston Lake, New York.
PRICING, terms & LEAD TIME:
Typical builds range from $900 – $1,400 depending on materials and customizations. I will give an estimate after understanding your desired product.
It is anticipated that the customer will approve the design and estimate. One set of revisions to the proposed design will be made upon deposit. Additional sets of revisions will be provided for additional cost.
Customer provides a deposit of $400.00 prior to material procurement and ski/board construction.
Typical build time is 2 months, but depends on customizations.
